A FINE 19TH CENTURY MAPLE & SATINWOOD INLAID, FOLD OVER CARD TABLE, with shaped top, raised on two fluted column supports, united with a carved stretcher, terminating on scroll tipped feet, stamped beneath J.W. Snowdon & Sons, 8 Pavement London, 37”x19”x2

A VERY FINE 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY CONSOLE TABLE, with green marble top, which rests on a base with “S” scrolled leg supports with carved lions’ paw feet, a platform base beneath and mirrored back, 51.5”x18.5”x37.5” approx

A CHEST OF DRAWERS, IRISH, 18TH CENTURY, 2 over 3 drawers, with swan neck brass handles, and raised on bracket shaped feet, 43"x21"x36" approx

AN EARLY WORCESTER PLATE DEPICTING THE CORK CITY COAT OF ARMS, part of a municipal dinner service, the central image shows the typical ship with three masts in full sail, with a tower on either side each on rocks, with the motto “Statio Bene Fide Carinis” within the rocks, surrounded by the ceremonial collar of S.S. worn by the Lord Mayors of Cork, the links of the S.S. are joined alternately by links of and flowers, and it terminates with a portcullis, it is flanked by a sceptre, sword & arrow on either side, the arms are signed in glaze on the right with the name G.R. Pain, which is thought to be George Richard Pain, a renowned architect of the 18th and early 19th century in Cork, with his brother responsible for the design of, amongst others, Blackrock Castle, Mitchelstown Castle, Cork City Gaol etc. As an artist he exhibited architectural designs at the Royal Academy between 1810 & 1814, and was awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Society of Arts in 1812 for an original design of a gothic church. He exhibited at the Cork Society for Promoting the Fine Arts in 1820. Diam of plate 10” approx
